The signing of the consultancy contract for the electronic authentication center building took place at the telecommunications tower.

The center represents one of the most important infrastructures of the National Electronic Authentication Authority and aims to enhance the security and safety of electronic transactions for the public in accordance with global quality and standards.

The contract was signed by Engineer Mohamed Abdelmajid, Director of the National Electronic Authentication Authority, and Mr.

Mohamed Hassan Abdelrahman from the New Tech Consulting Group, in the presence of the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Professor Zuhair Al-Fadil Al-Abjar, the Director General of the National Telecommunications Corporation, the Director General of the National Information Center, and the Director of the Nile Center.

The Undersecretary emphasized the ministry's keenness to prioritize the project this year, appreciating the support from the Ministry of Finance and the Informatics Support Fund, and praised the national expertise, describing it as capable.

He also pointed out that the project is funded by both the Ministries of Finance and Communications.

Engineer Mohamed Abdelmajid, Director of the Authentication Authority, stressed the importance of the project in bringing about a qualitative shift in providing electronic services, which he said have become a lived reality in the country due to the development in the communications and information technology sector.
