In a step aimed at building a strong societal line of defense, the National Cybersecurity Authority today launched the "National Cybersecurity Awareness Program," a comprehensive, year-long initiative designed to raise awareness of digital risks among all segments of Sudanese society. During the launch ceremony, the Director General of the Authority stated: “Cybersecurity is not merely a technical responsibility limited to engineers; it is a societal culture and a shared responsibility.
The ‘My Digital World, Safely’ program will operate through schools, universities, media outlets, and workplaces to equip every citizen with the knowledge necessary to protect themselves, their families, and their workplaces from growing cyber threats.” The program’s first phase is set to focus on combating online financial fraud and protecting children on the internet..
