The Board of Directors of the National Electronic Authentication Authority, in its first meeting today chaired by Professor Hashim Hassab Al-Rasoul, Minister of Communications and Digital Transformation, made a number of decisions and directives that work to develop and spread awareness in electronic transactions.

The Minister of Communications stated in press statements after the meeting that they discussed several topics during the meeting that will be raised to the Council of Ministers to issue directives to all state institutions to use electronic authentication services to secure electronic transactions due to their effective role in securing and protecting state transactions.

Professor Hashim added that the state is now moving towards digital transformation, and to ensure security and reliability, this must be done through the electronic authentication authority.

For his part, Engineer Hamed Abdelrahman Youssef, Acting Director of the National Electronic Authentication Authority, pointed out the importance of the authority's work in securing electronic transactions and protecting them from forgery and denial.

He added that the first meeting of the authentication board is an important step towards spreading awareness and the digital transformation that the country is witnessing, noting that the meeting resulted in many gains that contribute to the state's digital transformation.

It is worth mentioning that the board of directors approved the first quarter performance report of this year for the National Electronic Authentication Authority.
